“Everyone I dealt with at Pestguard was nice enough, but I wasn't happy with the quality of service. A day or two before the tenting/fumigation, their rep emailed me photos of the clusia/pitch apple and hibiscus shrubs by the front entrance that needed to be trimmed back--which I did--but they ended up throwing the tarp over them anyway. Now our big 10ft clusias and the hibiscus in front of the house look like they were torched in a fire. A raised bed of dracaena and oyster plants met a similar fate, where the vibrant purple & green are now black. I should mention that none of these were within the footprint of the roofline, and the raised bed was never even mentioned as an issue by the Pestguard rep at all. A rep came back out to look at the damage (see photos) and explained that the tarps are very heavy and tough to work with, but I got the distinct sense that their employees didn't really care enough to spend the extra few minutes to route the tarps around my plants. Now I have to spend more money to have these very large & heavy shrubs removed, and I regret not having gone with another company.”

“Seems like Pestguard did a good job. My only complaint is they left the thermostat fan 'on' and it ran all summer for 7.5 months. I believe it increased my electric bill by $35 each month. They should have reset the thermostat to original settings..”

“Pestguard is an untrustworthy company. The only reason I have stayed with them for 20+ years is because I had Termite treatment contract with them for fumigating my house. They broke that contract 10 years ago and decided to take my shed, which was on the original contract, off the contract. I still stayed with them because to get new termite insurance with another company was too expensive for me. I also had their quarterly bug Spraying service, and I watched as the technician sat in his car, did not get out of his car, did not do his job and then drove away and then they billed me for that visit. I have cameras on my house. They did this twice. Never again. And then they fired me for being a difficult customer. I think there is something illegal about that. Do not use them. They have lots of bad reviews on Yelp.”
