“I have been a customer for several years now. The service used to be good, worth the money and had long lasting results. Its not worth it anymore and their behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful. For a couple years now they have changed how they do business to get more money out of their clients with bad results so you keep needing them to come out again and again. Their whole business model used to be based on actually getting the job done right the first time and standing by their work. Now they do what every other company wants to do and just keep spraying every couple months over and over and still charge high prices. On top of that they have repeatedly disrespected us by failing to communicate when they want to provide service. We do not allow anyone to just show up at our house without advanced notice, without permission and expect us to be ready for them to spray for ants whenever they feel like it. I don’t need to argue or debate with their office staff/techs over and over again that no one comes to my house for any kind of service without prior communication and confirmation that when they want to come will work. It’s my home not theirs! They are now refusing to even apologize or take responsibility for once again showing up with zero communication after two years going in circles with them over this and previously being assured they would do better. They did not communicate with me by phone or any other approved form of communication about their desire to come to my home that week. When they showed up they were hostile and insisting they can show up whenever they want. I literally have had multiple long conversations with this exact employee about how we need notice by phone and they need to wait for me to confirm its okay. She even said in the past it would not be a problem because she lives nearby and could always make me her last stop. But on her last visit she was awful, did not even apologize for not communicating with us and when I told her this was a bad time and I was on the phone and was not ready for them (with the laundry list of things they want done before each service) she then would not leave. I even explained how we can’t have the service done in bad weather because it dilutes the spray too much and the owner said to do it only when its dry for a couple days. She continued to try to argue with me and refuse to leave. And they wonder why a customer would be upset. She could have just apologized for the scheduling screw up, offered to reach out in a couple days and left my property. It’s my home and my money and I decide when I receive service and how. I asked her to have the owner call me but they never did to try to resolve anything. Its really unfortunate because he’s a nice person and on several occasions personally took care of our services. Instead they sent a nasty email to a family members work email which they somehow had connected to my account. That family member was on a medical leave and when they reached out by phone they gave them the same nasty behavior refusing to respect my property, time and the simple request to not show up without confirmation. And they had the audacity to be dismayed that we were upset and refusing to accept their poor treatment of us. Its disgusting to see a good company fall apart so much and to be treated so badly when I ask for simple things. Call me, give me time to prepare for your visit which as a disabled person takes more than a day or two notice and wait for confirmation from me on when it would work best for me since I’m the paying customer. This was never a problem in the beginning, they used to do really good work and try hard to solve your problem. They would even come up with unique solutions sometimes too. It’s really sad that I have to find a new company to work with because they can’t do simple things like respect their clients wishes and communicate in advance. It’s like they are not trying to keep customers anymore. I don’t know where exactly the problems lies but something is rotten at Nature’s First and they don’t care to fix it.”

“The value to costs just isn’t there! I definitely want to pay them fair but this felt like a rip off. They spent only 2 hours (max) and it was a vacant, clean and accessible home. They plugged 6 holes ( 4 with a spray wood product) and 2 they put sheet metal across the holes ( which I felt I had to demand)-which I am glad they did. They set 3 traps at the entrance of the crawlspace only and would have charged me $100 more!!! to reinspect a few days later! ( I looked myself and saved the $100). I would definitely shop around more ‘next time’ and encourage my clients do the same. I will not be recommending them.”
