“Poor Customer Service This review if for Allstate in Shady Point, OK, since that is the address showing in my bill. I have been a customer of Allstate Termite & Pest Solutions for several years, relying on them to cover termite service for my home. The process has always been straightforward: each year I receive a notice, schedule an appointment, the technician completes a quick 20‑minute walk‑through of the property, and I pay the bill. However, this year’s experience left me disappointed. Since we do not live at the property full‑time, I needed to coordinate service while we were scheduled to be there. When I called, the receptionist transferred me to someone’s voicemail. Because I needed to speak with a person the same day, I called back and explained the situation. I asked the receptionist to check availability before transferring me, but she insisted the only way was to transfer the call. Once again, I reached voicemail. For customers who are renewing a policy and trying to schedule service with limited time at the property, this is poor customer service. Leaving a voicemail is not practical when the callback would come after I’ve already left. A company that earns significant revenue from a brief annual visit should at least ensure that customers can speak directly with someone when scheduling. I hope Allstate Termite & Pest Solutions improves their responsiveness, because reliable communication is just as important as the service itself.”
