“I hired this company to do a termite inspection on my home. I was running 10 minutes late, so I wasn’t there to open the gate for them. To my surprise the technician had not only let himself through my gate, but also into my locked home (he found the back door unlocked). The company was very aware that the plan was for me to meet them there - I had not given prior permission for them to enter the property if no one was home. To be clear, this is not a home that is on the market - this isn’t a real estate inspection. It’s my home. When faced with my shock, the technician - which is the owner of the company - said that it was fine because the gate wasn’t locked - it was fine because the back door was unlocked. When I disagreed he said that I must be from California. No, in fact, I’m from Texas and we take trespassing seriously here. I will never be using this company again. I do not recommend them.”
