“Had one year of service included with Cook’s after our new home build was completed. It was supposed to be ‘totally free’ but then we were charged a $50 fee to literally put our names on the account and switch it over from the builders. Our contract stated they were supposed to come every 3 months and service our home. Cooks didn’t come to our home one time in the entire year. I know this because someone is always home, we have cameras and they never once left a notice or note on the door that they were there or tried to service our home. Assuming they would only do the outside and not the interior, which again, went against the agreement we signed. I called to cancel when they tried to bill us after the year was up. Someone came by a week later and removed the termite bait stations from the yard. We then receive another bill. I called again and was rudely told I hadn’t canceled in time and that we owed for service along with late fees. Considering Cook’s didn’t follow their own contract and come to our home once why would we owe them anything? The lady I spoke with was incredibly rude and demanded proof of when I canceled. I demanded proof of when they came to our home in the previous 12 months. She said she would discuss the issue with a supervisor/manager. She called back the next day and said as a “courtesy” they would waive the bill and cancel the contract. What a joke. Incredibly disappointing and I’m honestly shocked by all the positive reviews for them on google. Would not recommend.”

“This company is awful. I didn't have much of a pest control problem. But I can't stand having roaches. I hired Cooks, and the person that came out was too arrogant and bragged that he had been doing this for 15 years. He told me It was not bad and told me that it would be $159.00 for the service and then after would be $111.00 per month. He then cam back to do the service the next week because he only did the inspection at that time. He stayed about 10 minutes was was done. He hardly did anything. Then he said it would be 3 months from then on for them to come out. We'll I didn't see any difference and seemed like they got worse. So I called them, he come back out did a little bit more, still nothing seemed to change. They said it was a process that I had to wait, so I waited a month, they were getting worse not better. Making a long story short, months went by and still nothing. They were charging me again for the 111.00, but still not was done and seemed like it was getting worse. They were supposed to start coming out every week until they were gone and not charge me because I had to pay them for the 3 month service. Well this started in March of 2023. They half the time would come out in a few weeks time when I called them, not what was promised. Well anyway to this day in February 2014 I still have the issue. It may not be as bad at this point. Buy it has been almost year with promises and charging me and not doing what was agreed on and I still have this issue. They said they were a pest control, not a company to get rid of the pests. So I hope you don't go to do business with them...”
