“Edit: Despite the response to this review about management contacting me within 24 hours, no one has called me on behalf of Don’s Lawn. In the spirit of authenticity and integrity, I believe that’s worth noting. ————————————————— I’ve been using Don’s Lawn for a few years now, and historically they’ve been great. However, my most recent service has left me overwhelming disenchanted. I called three days ahead of my service to ask that they not use dye in my backyard. I communicated that if they can split the treatment and do just the front yard, that would be great—if not, I didn’t want any dye at all. The person I spoke to assured me they could make that happen and that they’d leave a note for my service tech. When I came home yesterday, I found my backyard had been sprayed with dye. I have three dogs whose paws now need to be be wiped every time they come in, and still not all the dye comes off and it ends up on my floors and furniture. When I called the same day to express my frustration, the service rep said she’d “let the tech know.” After sitting with it, I called back today unsatisfied with that response and asking what they can do to make it right. The service rep did not apologize for the inconvenience or express understanding as to why I’m frustrated. Instead she said there was nothing she could do, but she’d let the manager know and they’d “call me back with a verdict.” So, I’m waiting to hear back on management’s “verdict” regarding the headache they’ve caused me and my household for the next several weeks until this dye fades.”
