“If you’re on the fence about using Saela, just don’t. I called them on 10/2021 about some ants in my house. They came out in a timely manner and the tech was great. I continued to use for a year a half until i no longer had a use for them. I went to cancel my service and was told i couldn’t because i was in a legally binding contract for over 2 years. I have NO RECOLLECTION of signing anything-other than what i thought was just for the service for that day. After several minutes on hold and after talking with a customer service rep, i was told i couldn’t cancel. As someone who owns a business, along with my husband owning his own business, this is NOT the way to go about receiving contracts. I even went so far as to cancel my credit card and they have it linked to my checking account. Total scammers. LETS PUT SCAELA OUT OF BUSINESS. I have A LOT of friends.”

“I don’t typically take time out of my day to give advice to the general public, but for Saela, I must make an exception — JUST DON’T. Mosquito activity one day after treatment, is no different than mosquito activity 30 days after treatment. Their basic “protection plan” is even more worthless than the mosquito treatment. Even typing the words “customer service” make me chuckle, seeing how they’re close to impossible to get ahold of(after they get your payment info, of course). However, when you finally do have a few hours to sit on hold, have people answer — not say a word — then hang up, and whatever other “customer service” flavor-of-the-day runaround is going on, you will come out with a new understanding of how little it takes to get money from people…. So that’s a plus. Anyway. Plan on signing a 2 year contract prior to seeing what they actually do, and then being charged 50% of the contract value when you want to cancel. If you dare venture towards giving Saela a shot, just make sure you have a couple thousand dollars saved up for cancellation the following month. And yes, for what it’s worth, I’m still a customer. I think of it more like a court mandated fine, where the judge has allowed a payment program — you get to pay for your idiocy a little each month, rather than one lump sum…. The Calendar is marked for cancellation.”

“I don't take the time to leave positive reviews and perhaps that's my fault, but as someone in the service and sales business for over 20 years, there are certain expectations that are expected. If someone goes above and beyond, I make sure to recognize them, but when people do their job and it is satisfactory and done well, well that's their job correct? This company, not even remotely close. Had a family emergency requiring our family to move for financial reasons, and not one but two people, including an account manager asks "is there someone in the neighborhood I could transfer the remaining services to"? Excuse me?? You want me to ask a neighbor to pay for services I signed up for so you can keep your profit up? I didn't need sympathy because I am a grown adult, but to try and put me through a sales pitch, even after I am offering to cancel my agreement and pay the 50% remaining balance as per the contract, you are still going to try and pawn services to someone else? Absolute joke. I would be embarrassed to have my name attached to this company. Maybe the product works great maybe it doesn't so please don't confuse this review as a shot against their product. I do not know the effectiveness, and I really don't care. I will sum up in one sentenced: I paid them to NOT PROVIDE ME SERVICES ANYMORE.”
