“I am currently in the process of selling my home, and the buyer recently requested a termite inspection. According to the inspector, my property has termites, which caused the buyer to back out of the deal due to fear. However, I obtained second and third opinions from two separate companies, and both excavated the areas where termites were supposedly found. Contrary to the initial inspector's claims, not a single termite was discovered on my property, including the areas that were marked. As a result, I lost a potential buyer due to the inspector's misdiagnosis, which is unacceptable. Two independent companies confirmed that I do not have termites, and both excavated the same areas that were initially identified. The inspector's mistake has caused me to lose a buyer, which is not ideal. Not one termite tunnel was found. They also said no previous termites tunnels were found to indicate I had termites or was cleaned”
