“Let me tell you about Alex, at Evans Pest Control. He came out and sprayed for mosquitos. We were still struggling with them, so Evans sent him back out to respray. Which in and of itself is outstanding service. But when he came back, my son was in the driveway, selling rocks and crystals he had dug out of the woods and cleaned. My son was going to need to close up "shop" and come inside, away from the pesticide. Alex said he felt terrible for causing a loss of business, and gave him money (far more than he should have, more than he would have accrued). I was flabbergasted. I tried to refuse, he wouldn't hear of it. I told him he's a mench, which I defined for him as: "someone to admire and emulate, someone of noble character." Just wow.”
