“I caution anyone contracting Natures Own Chimney Cleaning for dampener repairs. I was charged $1500 to replace a Chimney cap and dampener system 3 years ago. I noticed a leak from my flue during the recent rain storm and suspect the leak has been there for some time. I spoke with the service rep at Natures Own Chimney who stated that all work is warrantied for only 1 year and there will be $150 service fee with additional tax along with an estimate for a repair.... Its important to note that the original chimney cap had never leaked for 30 years and now after only 3 years the replacement cap/dampener system needs repair already. As a homeowner I am at the loss with no recourse. I strongly encourage you to seek out a better company for dampener/chimney cap repairs that has a comprehensive warranty lasting longer than 1 year. If you are looking for simple chimney cleaning, Natures own will be able to service your flue with confidence. If you need more I strongly encourage you to seek out better options.”
