“Jay was my inspection technician. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend. *Update which changed my rating. Action now asks for yearly payment upfront in order to keep current charges for services. If you cannot afford to pay upfront, your quarterly charges will be increased and the people who pay upfront will get priority service. I responded to this email, because I pay cash quarterly and it is discrimination to give some customers better service than others. A manager was to contact me. That was 2 weeks ago .”

“Women that answers the phone is angry and rude. She clearly hates her job. We stayed with this company because they use to have good, knowledgeable technicians. Which is really what matters. But all the good ones left because the company treats them so poorly, and demands they rush through jobs and do a fast and sloppy job to get more houses done. So the company now just sends out random techs each time so service has no standard. Just depends on who you get, and some of them are scary. Had a tech one time spray across my kids toys and across and in all our shoes. I was right there and trying to kick shoes, toys, out of the way as fast as possible and asking him to wait a second. He ignored me and continued to spray any belongings, including pet supplies, in his path. He seemed angry and rushed, and was short with me. The entire situation was more than uncomfortable having this man walking through my home behaving that way. We really should have canceled with Action after that incident, but we also had very positive experiences with other techs. After that incident, I refused to let them come in our home unless it was a tech I knew or my husband was home. The problem is, they auto schedule you with whoever whenever, so if you want a specific tech or need a different day or time you have to call to reschedule your appointment, which clearly annoys Mrs. Hates-Her-Job. Now that all the techs that were good have left, I had to keep moving the auto scheduled appointment to days my husband is home. After a scheduling error on Action’s part, Mrs. Hates-Her-Job gave me a problem about moving service to another day that my husband is off. She literally refused to reschedule at all. So we finally canceled with this company. Should have done it long ago. There’s plenty of places in Toms River to choose from. I’d suggest you keep looking.”
