“We used Pest Authority (and Mosquito Authority) for years. In an effort to save money, we decided to take on controlling things ourselves. Unfortunately, we have noticed an increase in ants and decided to restart Pest Authority quarterly service. When calling this morning, I was told our privilege of paying quarterly was revoked since we canceled in the past. In order to reinstate, we’d have to pay over $525 upfront. Of course, we declined as that isn’t in our budget. I’m not sure I fully understand the business practice of turning away a quarterly payment from past clients. I could understand if they had completely done away with ALL quarterly payments but the person on the phone literally said “that privilege is gone since you cancelled in the past.” I liked supporting this business as I grew up on the same street as the owners. Thankfully, there are plenty of other mosquito & pest companies to choose from now. I’m not sure in this economy why anyone choose to turn away business.”
