“Just passing along my experience. Facts: Hired Advanced Wildlife Management to trap groundhogs at my rental unit. Contract was clear. Pay by the drink. Caught nothing except an Opossum, and then charged me $95 to take it with them when they were already there to take the trap away. Groundhog came back about a month later, outside the window of "come back and re-set the trap as part of the original fee" Discussion: Did not feel great to me that I paid $300 and no groundhog, so I was looking for a concession since they had to come and get the trap anyway. CEO chose to stick to the contract, not interested in viewing it from the customer's perspective that I paid $300 and got nothing for the service, no positive outcome, and the $95 felt like an injury to insult as they had to come anyway to get the trap. So, the CEO looked out for his business which is fair, but I won't go back. You can win the battle and lose the war. Customer's determine your success. Maybe he will get enough first time customers to keep him going.”

“My technician is nice guy. Seemed knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent salesman. My home has two different families of squirrels living on opposite sides between joists. We also have a family of sparrows living in a hole on one side. A total of four entrance/exits. During his initial visit, I showed him all these points of exit/entryways these animals were using. My technician tells me for eachteach animal there's a fee, unless we opted for the more expensive option which was a $400 flat rate for all the animals. I signed the iPad believing I could take him at his word. What he failed to mention was this service was only valid for FIVE DAYS ONLY. I didn't know this until I received my receipt via email. Luckily I only gave them money for the deposit ($200). He tells me the traps couldn't be set that day, and will have to wait for tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and goes. I'm thinking, no worries, I'm paying these guys to take care of my squirrel/bird problem and I trust them to do their job. MY MISTAKE. Two days later he sets two traps on the roof (at the same entrance point no less). I had my doubts, but thinking this is what they do, I let them do their jobs. The next day, two squirrels caught. Fantastic! Now 7+ more to go plus the birds. Thinking they were going to put out more traps at the other entrances was wishful thinking. Of the five entrances/exits, they only set for ONE entrance/exit. No further catches. (On a side note, this company requires you to report if you have a "Catch" or "No Catch" by 8:15 or else they charge more for a tech to come out and check the trap.) I digress. Day three, four, five, six goes by with "No Catch". During this period I called my tech about setting more traps at other entrances. Never happened. Today I received an invoice for the rest of the service ($211). I can tell you right now they're not getting it. I'm not paying for a service I never received. They should be happy with what they've already scammed me for; Two squirrels for $200. Small claims court, here we come...”
