“5 stars always seems unattainable. I am a hard grader and to get 5 stars I need to be simply awed. However, there is no other possible rating to give here. I bought a house in December 2019 and the inspector failed to notice at least 250 bats living in the attic. To be fair, it's a complex house and he did notify me of rodent droppings in the attic. I saw the pictures and assumed mice - an easy fix with a cat or two. He did not look in the actual attic though so we inherited a nice colony of little brown bats. After catching them in my house near nightly, I decided to find a professional. It is damn near impossible to find anyone to even come out to look let alone show up when scheduled. I tried "Town and Country Pest Control", a local company first. The owner forgot that he was supposed to show up the first day. The next day, the manager showed up and came up with a plan. Apparently the plan was to never show back up or call again. So don't even try them. Stop supporting unreliability and they will starve themselves out. So I called AEPI. From the start, Tara was extremely helpful in setting up a visit from Daniel. Daniel was there 2 days later. The bid was as reasonable as can be expected - it was bats you know. It took 2 days to seal up all access points for the bats and exclude them with one way cones. After the second day, Daniel walked the attic and crawl spaces and found zero bats. I figured maybe he missed one or two but there's a one year warranty so I figured at least we had a good start. Seriously, waking up at all hours of the night to catch bats was getting old. But all the bats were gone! Even after the first day and they weren't even finished yet! It's now been three weeks and no bats. We even had a restoration company (Hi-Pro, another 5 star review believe it or not) come yesterday and remove all the guano and dead bats from the attic and crawl spaces. No more bats. I cannot believe it. And they returned for a third time to inspect and seal off a decommissioned chimney with mesh screen. These guys are great. Prompt service, they pick up the phone when you call, they are there when they say they will be there; you know - good old fashioned customer service and good business. In this day and age, these types of places are disappearing. I will only do business with companies like this. It's a family owned business of hardworking people. You will get your money's worth for sure. I cannot recommend them enough. Good luck if you go somewhere else - I will stick with AEPI, Tara, Daniel, Larry and Kayla (I hope I got that one right!) as I was simply awed.”
