“We recently were going to buy a home. We had arenz pest as our termite inspector, along with a different general and sewer inspector. Don, our termite inspector from Arenz, came and was in and out in 30 minutes, said everything looked good! Then, 4 hours later, when our general inspector went into the crawl space to double check, he found extensive termite damage. He said his screw driver was able to go right through the wood it was so bad! I couldn't believe someone could miss the entire point of their job. I'm not sure he even went into the crawl space. Considering if not for the general inspector, we would have bought that house and it would have costs us thousands of dollars, I was pretty upset. However, we weren't offered a refund, or even an apology. They just sent us both reports- one that was "good" and the accurate one the next day. Trust is a huge thing for me when it comes to inspectors, and I don't think you can trust Arenz, at least not Don that works there.”
