“We have been dealing with Bates for two years. They are a dishonest company and do a terrible job. We made the mistake of giving them multiple opportunities to correct the problems we were having and for our patience with them, as they requested, they had the audacity to claim we were never a client of theirs (to the BBB), although there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. We did EVERYTHING they requested or suggested we do. We even had THEM set our sprinkler timers so they couldn't keep claiming the grass was receiving too much or too little water and they STILL tried to blame us in their BBB response. We have lived in Florida for over 45 years and have had the exact same type of grass at our other Florida homes. HEED MY ADVICE AND NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH BATES EXTERMINATING!”

“We were very disappointed with Bates, they did not do the work they were paid to do. We don’t live at our home all year long and hired them to look after our lawn and insects while we are away, we have cameras and didn’t see them come to do any of the work we paid for. I called them a couple of times to let them know our concerns, but Bates always had an excuse. Our neighbor took pictures of our dead lawn full of grubs which they were supposed to be taking care of. Our lawn company that cuts our grass also advised us that we were having lawn issues because the treatments were not being done. Do Not hire this company because they don’t do the work they are paid to do. ThankYou”

“I called several times recently with concerns about my service. The receptionist said that since I have grievances I’d have to talk to “Mr Bates”. I said to forget my concerns, I just want service. She said I’d still have to speak with Mr Bates. He is supposed to call me. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I’ve heard nothing. TERRIBLE customer relations and communications!!!!!”
