“I was willing to change this one star review to a three star because of how fast they responded back to me and fix the problem. The problem is not totally fixed, but we are working through that. I hope to be able to put a better review if we can work through this problem because we do know how difficult it is to have to switch systems. I’ve always said to my people that when a problem arises, it’s an opportunity to make a more solid customer. By the way we handle that problem. We have been with this company I believe almost 4 years. We started with them after reviewing multiple others and went with them because they are in our state and they were a go-getter company which they were awesome at that time. Since they’ve been purchased They have been awful. I feel like Wall Street or other big money has bought up Main Street in many different services that all of us use. When things like this happen there is zero customer service. Anybody running a pest control company knows that at times they do have to work with their customers and when big money buys small companies they do not work with customers anymore. It is solely a financial transaction.. We’ve had multiple issues even with their servers and systems going down, which has cost us money. We tried signing up for another one of their services which Was to help focus on collections. I would say it worked for a few months, but by the six month mark it canceled itself out. The cost of the service no longer benefited us. It was an extra $200 a month.. we went to cancel it, and they said we are locked in a contract which we understand so we fulfilled that contract and then canceled it on the one year anniversary, but they did not cancel it. They continued to charge us for another year saying that we were locked into another contract even though we were not using the service because it was not working as intended. We finished up the second year and tried the same thing and it was a repeat. They locked us into a third year. The service is already expensive but to add an additional third of the cost is insane. Finally, when I threatened legal action and we are going to quit the service, which is a frustrating process they let us out of that agreement. No apologies no credit for paying for a service for an additional year and a half. My problem is when we became in a difficult situation. They cut our service off just as our season started picking up literally and figuratively, putting a gun to our head.. We would be out of business if we treated our customers this way. Any company would be. I now intend to pursue legal actions to collect the legal year and a half of Over billing and I am done with this company”

“I have had them for years. In the beginning they were a great small company. The recent negative reviews are true. We only stay with them because we have to at this point. It's not an easy process to switch thousands of customers from them to another company. In fact, I would say it's not possible. We even tried to buy a company that used Brio, and they weren't able to merge the data. Here is my take on them after 6 years: The software is good. It works well and we found it a bit easier than Routes. But, they don't integrate with anyone, so if you want to have all the features available with AI, collections, etc go elsewhere. They don't release relevant features often and I haven't seen any improvements in a while. The customer support is pretty bad. They are nice, but they lack the ability to resolve complicated things quickly. It becomes a "we'll get back to you scenario" that drags out and goes no where. Also, they don't care about you as a customer. We sold a branch and the new user was going to use Brio and they charged me a cancellation fee still. And, we have a couple additional offices with them. Just not very impressed with how they treat us after being with them for so long. In fact, I just recalled I emailed them on the 12th of last month and I still haven't heard back from them. The user billing is pretty bad compared to the competition as well. They charge the most for an office admin and every additional license requires a year contract with an evergreen renewal. If you like to staff up in the summer, plan on spending $1200 per seat you need, even if it's only for a few months. Don't think they'll let you drop a seat in the year either. It will cost you. This was not the case when we started with them, but they are no longer honoring the arrangement we signed up with. The card transaction fee's are brutal...above market rate. This has always been an issue and hasn't improved much. Seems like people are still talking about this. If you charge more than Stripe's average rate, you're extorting your customers. They should be using the group power to improve fee's, but instead they focus on profiting from them as the merchant. I'm fine with that, but not when its 1-2% over Stripe. Over all, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The software is a good product, but you will have a better experience at one of the companies that care about their reputation and user experience.”

“Briostacks support has been nothing but NON-EXISTENT. I had purchased a company using Briostack and they have refused to help me at all. Now we are switching to another much better software company FieldRoutes, and we have been submitting emails, call, and chats to submit a ticket so we can begin a token transfer to move merchants for over a month with zero help. They keep telling us that they are going through a bunch of employee turnover and position changes. They said our original account manager is no longer managing accounts and that they don't have anyone to fill the position, but that what we are asking for can only be handled by an account manager. I WILL RECOMMEND ANYONE LOOKING INTO BRIOSTACK FOR THEIR CRM SOFTWARE TO NOT EVEN DEMO THEM AND TO RUN THE OTHER DIRECTION AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.”
