“My request was to have a large hornet nest removed. After paying a fair amount for this service, I came home to not only find a significant portion of the nest laying in my driveway, rather than removed, but a fair amount of residue remaining on the siding, rather than cleaned up. The pictures speak for themselves. I called to say I was scared of the nest now laying in my driveway, and uncomfortable with the service – could someone please come back out and complete the job appropriately. I was told “The technician didn’t have a tall enough ladder with him. He can’t reach the residue.” When I inquired, “But then why didn’t he just come back when he had the right equipment? And why is part of the nest laying in my driveway? I’ve paid for this to be removed”, I was met with dismissive replies from the woman on the phone. When that went nowhere, I then asked for the manager. She became obnoxious with me. I finally asked to speak with the owner, I was told “No”. No one should be treated that way. Period. You’ve collected the money, do the job properly. The owner ultimately did come out to my home and correct the job. On a prior call to my home the owner accidentally left an entire applicator full of rodent-killing chemicals in my yard, where my dogs play. If I could get past that oversight, they should have certainly appreciated a returning customer.”
