“Update: I said in my first review that this is really a 5 STAR company, and it is. The team has been responsive and we are back on track. Robert, Kane and Travis have been great. I have no doubt that the billing issues have been addressed. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.... Original post: This is really a 5 STAR company and I will happily write another review stating such. I am showing one star to get the attention of the billing department. First the 5 Star part...Family owned and referred to me by the company that installed my new sod; Tara, an extremely customer oriented person who is a delight to talk to and amazingly helpful; Kane our great service tech; and Robert, in charge of quality control, knowledgeable, and literally the knight in shining armor who, because of his immediate phone call to me following an email I wrote to the company, became the sole reason I didn't cancel my account last Friday. Now to billing. When I signed up, there were options for payment. I elected to pay by check off of the statement what would be emailed to me following service, independent of the Service email. This has been working just fine with no issues. Then I get a phone call from Cheryl in billing on Friday telling me I am late when I had just gotten the statement that week, and put the payment in the mail the next day. They just didn't have it yet. Her solution...have me pay again by credit card or "per the company's instructions, my yard would not be serviced in June because I 'hadn't paid', and they had already been in the area anyway and skipped over me". She had no customer service skills and argued with me over how my account had been operating and insisted I would not receive service unless I gave her an additional credit card duplicate payment. It was bad enough where I was close to canceling my service. I hung up, wrote an email to the company, and that is when Robert called and made an appointment with me to talk in person. He was at my house this morning. It was a productive conversation and I will remain a customer in spite of Cheryl, largely because of Robert. But someone needs to work on some serious customer service training in the billing department. You might not be able to save the next customer. Billing=One Star. Rest of the company=5 STARS!”
