“STAY AWAY! Company has no integrity and does not follow through with services! We hired Hawx pest control for services at our primary residence. The services we signed up for included multiple mosquito traps and general spraying and treatment for mosquito prevention. After signing the contract it took weeks for the mosquito traps to be placed. We were told multiple times that they were on back order, which we understand can happen. However, there was no follow up, no communication from the business on when they would arrive. We noticed multiple other houses in our neighborhood getting traps placed. I had to call multiple times to get this issue resolved. Once placed Hawx did give us a credit on the account. Hawx missed treatments on our house multiple times, which is supposed to be treated monthly. I had to call every month after the appointment was missed to get someone out to our residence to treat our property. I could not tolerate this incompetence and poorly ran business any longer. I called to cancel the service and was notified that I would have to pay a $200 cancellation fee per the contract. This is absolutely not true since Hawx is in violation of their own contract by not providing services on a monthly basis as agreed upon. There was no resolution attempts other than an additional credit on the account, which I did not want. I wanted to be done. There was no dropping of the $200 dollar charge and it was ran on my card. I disputed this charge and then was contacted by Hawx and charged a $25.00 dispute charge from the company. I paid this balance and was told that if I did this then my account would be closed. Fast Forward a couple months to Today 3/5/2024, I was called and told I have an outstanding balance of 199.00 for a cancelation fee. I was furious. Requested to talk to management and this was denied. They offered a settlement of 163.00. I just wanted to be done with this company. Absolute sham of a business which is built on a bed of lies and deceit.”

“We had a one-year contract with this company, and my experience was pretty bad. The first visit was good, but the second and third times were horrible. They didn't seem to know what they were doing at all, couldn't answer any questions, and didn't even check inside the bait box. When I asked if they could seal the hole better for mice, the technician said she didn't bring anything, so she would send a different technician next week. However, no one came. Four months later, we are canceling the service. Yesterday, a technician came and couldn't answer any of my questions or didn't bring any tools, so they still can't do anything with the hole or even look at it. I was playing with my 2-year-old and noticed he left the mice/rat poison on my walkway. I'm terrified; my baby could touch it and put it in his mouth, or I could step on it and bring it into my house. Not acceptable. They seem more focused on selling than taking care of customers or providing the services we need. I do not recommend this company”
