“Homestead & Lookout Pest Control recently became one in a ‘seamless’ merger. If I could give a minus 10 review they absolutely deserve even less. I have had a termite contract with them for 4 years. They charged me $200 to get a termite letter as we are moving. The tech contacted me the day before the inspection was scheduled stating he was in the area & wanted to swing by to see what he was “up against”. He came, crawled under the house briefly then proceeded to tell me that my encapsulated crawl space was done incorrectly & we would have to tear it all out. I spoke with Dylan, his supervisor, who stated it wouldn’t be a problem to inspect. Mind you, the crawl space is exactly as it was when I purchased the $800 contract in 2022 & they have come yearly since then. NEVER any mention of the encapsulation being a problem. They were scheduled to come today between 8-12. No call, no show. When you call their office no one knows what’s going on. You may speak with someone in Huntsville, Ala…any # of places & be on hold with crummy music for 15 minutes at a time. I just want to forewarn anyone reading this that they do not value their customers or stand behind their services. Dylan offered to come out tomorrow, but quite frankly I do not trust their word. No explanation offered as to why no one showed or even called! They were adamant that I pay for the $200 inspection in advance. I requested a refund & will NEVER recommend or use this poor excuse of a service provider again!!!”
