“Beware of billing practices — feels like a scam. I signed up with Romex Pest Control in 2023 under the impression I’d be charged $97 quarterly. However, I recently reviewed my receipts and found I was being charged $97 monthly without my consent. They would send messages saying they were coming—without any appointment I scheduled—and then charge me immediately after service. In one case, I was charged $197 twice within two days in March 2023. When I called customer service, they seemed unsure how to resolve the issue. Instead of helping, When I ask to speak to manager simply asked if I wanted to cancel—so I did. This is unacceptable. Check your receipts closely if you’re using them. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. This is unacceptable and we'll take further action to resolve the issue.”
