“Thank God for Spartan! I hate mice. Spartan comes out whenever I need help getting the mice out of my basement/air conditioner/yard. They are quick to come out, but take the time to explain how the mouse bait/ trap works. The trap is completely protected from squirrels and larger animals. Also, dogs would have to eat a lot of bait to get sick, and that is only if they do get the trap open which looks impossible to do. I have used them for at least 2 1/2 years. TL; DR: Very helpful, quick to respond, lots of experience.”

“When I couldn't ignore the squirrels living in my soffit anymore, I did a lot of research and made a lot of calls. Spartan seemed most sensible- $500 for 14 days of trapping, the only place I called that didn't charge by the squirrel (yes, I laughed about that too.). They sent a tech out and he even went into my crawlspace attic (very small entry) which impressed me enough to start service that day, even though I would normally sleep on it. I'm a first time home owner so $500 is a big expense for me, but I figured "who am I to accurately guess how many squirrels are up there?" so I wanted to go with an unlimited plan. My following service did not live up to expectations. Setting traps was very inconsistent. One day after a long weekend (they don't trap on weekends) my trap didn't get set until 6pm. Still counted as one of my 14 days. I received email invoices, but some days would receive many different invoices at once, even if I had already received them, which made it very hard to keep track of the days. They managed to catch 3 squirrels, which is far less than I expected considering how much activity there was/is. Today I went back through my invoices day-by-day and it seems I was shorted one more day than even that instance. When the tech first came out, I pointed out the hole in my soffit that was their entry point. We discussed remediation but I was told that would not occur until after the trapping period was over. Sure, makes sense. My trapping period ended uncermoniously, my email inquiring about next steps went unanswered, as did my two follow-up voicemails. Finally got in touch with them today when I called (7/6, ended 6/10), and was informed they do not have a ladder tall enough to get to the entry point, and they had already passed my number to a contractor they work with. My house is NOT big, so the business practice of turning someone's money away rather than buying a slightly taller ladder that will otherwise serve your business confuses me. I have not heard from any contractor, my soffit is still just as vulnerable, I'm out $500 and I'm just as frustrated by the situation as I started. I am not normally a reviewer myself, but rely heavily on them to make contractor decisions, so I wanted to leave my experience for others with a similar problem. Conflicted on how many stars to leave, so I'll leave one for every squirrel captured.”
