“I don't take pleasure in writing a review like this, but people should know about our recent experience. My husband and I purchased a home in Royersford and moved in November of 2025 only to find out that there were German Cockroaches coming through the shared will with our neighbors who had an infestation the property owner refused to resolve. In a panic I didn't do much research and reached out to TKO because they had a handful of decent reviews. We were charged $365 for the first two treatments and then sent a contract for bi-monthly treatments. Unfortunately this contract did not meet our needs, but I was told that after the first two treatments we would be charged $150 for future service regardless, which is even stated on our invoice with no mention of a contract. We wound up needing two treatments in January, and were charged $365 for both, meaning in less than two months we've paid TKO over $1,000 for treating a little 1,100 sq ft home that does not have a major infestation. Our kitchen and bathroom were the only places that needed additional attention. Also, being that the bugs were coming through the wall we were helpless, and TKO could continue charging us astronomical fees because we could not control the issue coming through the wall even having taking the additional steps to involve the borough and county health department. We also referred TKO to two other residence involved. I did attempt to speak with the owner and he was unwilling to compromise and also told me that I would not be able to find a more affordable service. This was a lie... I called Patriot Pest Control in Royersford and they charge $290 for the first TWO treatments, and only $40 a month for unlimited treatments WITHOUT a contract. For anyone considering TKO, please take the time to research other local companies before moving forward. TKO lost a long term customer over a $200 credit they were unwilling to put toward future service even after I gave in and offered to sign a contract that did not meet our needs. I am baffled....”
