“Don’t use this company. Formally Action Pest (was a great local owned company) now is owned by a private equity . They are so big that the billing is centralized and they have no clue where Fort Mill SC is let alone the correct amount to bill you. My contract (that was through Action Pest) states I pay $195 a year for renewal. The last two years after being bought out by Rocket they have tried to charge me more for my treatments. My contract is for 10 years….they bought the Company, they have to honor the contract! They literally call you three times after the treatment to try to collect even though I give a physical check to the guy who does the inspection and spray. Do not use them! Go to a locally owned company. Make sure to find out who owns the company and where the billing AND headquarters are located.”

“This company has given me whiplash! Let’s start with the positives… One of the first companies to respond to my inquiry, they were able to come out the very next day to assess my bug situation. The sales rep, Zach, and both techs were initially very personable and answered all of my ten million questions. I was able to receive treatment at my home within the week and was assured a follow up appointment within the month would ensure my home remained bug-free. Now the not so good… The price quoted was given only AFTER I provided the amount someone else I know paid for a similar service. That was my first red flag, but I was desperate to get this work done ASAP so I ignored my better judgment. Can you say shifty business practices? During the initial inspection, I was then told I’d be provided a mattress encasement and climb-ups on the treatment date. On the date of treatment (Thursday, 9/11), I was told by the tech that he didn’t have the encasement and climb-ups, but that the office would call me and they’d send someone out the following day (Friday, 9/12). Well, no one called even though I reached out to Zach several times. As it was then a weekend, I ordered my own mattress encasement that came overnight via Amazon. At this point, I still had no idea when my follow up appointment would be scheduled and I was interested in a partial refund as no mattress encasement or climb ups had been provided as were promised. I finally got a response from Zach on Tuesday, 9/16, but only AFTER I called the corporate office in Florida and was told by their customer service rep that she could schedule my followup visit, but that I should speak with my sales rep regarding a potential refund. Zach then told me his boss would reach out by the afternoon of Wednesday, 9/17. After some reminding, I received a phone call from Scott that evening and was assured that he would “look into it” for me. No deadline for this was given, so I patiently waited over a week. I called Scott again on Friday, 9/26, and received a text back that only said, “Please text me.” I did and was still given ZERO update. In fact, he never responded again. I did have my follow up appointment today, Monday, 9/29, and the first thing the tech asked me is if they’d installed mattress encasements during the treatment… I almost laughed. Talk about a slap in the face. Bottom line. This company seemed to have wonderful customer service before they received my payment, but afterwards… not so much. And that’s truly unfortunate. You would think in today’s day and age that positive customer service would be a priority, but apparently not for this company. 10/27: Update. Well, it only took a month and lots of weekly check-in texts, but I finally got a partial refund as promised. I am upping my review from 2 to 3 stars as a result. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work done and the results, I just wish it hadn't felt like pulling teeth to communicate with this company.”
