“Stay away from this company. A lot of reviews have been saying it’s a SCAM. It true. I paid them $2000 to treat a rodent problem that come with a lifetime guarantee. It’s been 10 months since I contracted with them and they have only been since once then to do anything about it. When they did come they said I need to pay another $5000 as there was still some evidence of mice getting into my crawl space. I think it’s reasonable to expect Alta to actually try to come to my house and take some action to get rid of the mice! They have also never once been under my deck where the mice are getting in. They will just charge you a lot for a “lifetime” service and use that as an opportunity to get thousands more from you. Do NOT hire this company. If you currently have their ongoing services, cancel immediately and find an honest company that will actually work. P.S. to the person at Alta who reply’s to all negative reviews. The thing you can do to help make this right is issue me a refund for the “lifetime service” I paid for. You can reply when you’re willing to do that.”

“Customer service agents are polite, but the sales reps make their pitch as confusing as possible to trap you in a year’s contract and my experience so far has been a nightmare. My rep (who was door-knocking) misrepresented pretty much every aspect of the services, including the cancellation policy. When the Q1 crew showed up, they were several hours late and rushed the job because it was almost sunset. They also ignored my request not to knock down the spiderwebs. When the Q2 crew came, the office team failed to notify me ahead of time, so I was not able to move porch furniture for them, nor was I on site to monitor. They made a mess of my porch and I am NOT comfortable with strangers fussing around my property without someone present. Also, without moving the porch furniture, I know for a fact that there is no way they properly sprayed the home perimeter for ants. Worst of all, none of the treatments have been effective. At this point, I just want out. This has been a colossal headache and waste of money.”
