“I have been an Any Pest customer for over 10 years and I must say I bragged on them and loved their service for YEARS! Why the 3 stars? My love changed after they merged with another company and Monty sent out a wonderful letter telling us about this new merger. Monty, you personally came to my house years ago to do my pest control (as the owner) and to do my termite inspection. It was a customer-centric company with much love for the customer. If I had a concern or complaint, no questions I was serviced. I miss Rusty and changed to Robby-great. Once I established what I needed, I was impressed by their care and concern over my intense fear of roaches and I had a roach-free house or one call and they took care of any problems. Since the merger the customer service has changed. They no longer will come into your house to do pest control, because the new theory is that only outside coverage is necessary. However, they will re-treat if you see a roach. I am deathly afraid of roaches and when I moved in 20 years ago I had roaches divebombing off the walls. I was sent an email, which while living out of state thought that perhaps they were notifying me of the visit, instead it was new service rules that you have a date and have to unlock all gates. I screwed up and did not realize or understand what was happening and the changes. When I called because the pest agent only did the exterior front and side, not back yard due to locked gate...the lecturing began. The first person from customer service was nice and explained the new rules, but needed a manager's approveal. I spoke with the manager, Jason or Justion and he nicely explained to me the new rules (second information session) and agreed this one time to resend a pest control agent and to do ONLY the exterior. He told me that Steve would call to set up the appointment, never happened. I had to call and a RUDE lady working the day that Steve was off proceeded to once again lecture me about the new rules and what they no longer do. The new mantra is "company rules, company policy, company rules!" She quoted and quoted and I said to her that I had already had several people explain to me the new rules, I wasn't calling for the a lecture or to be talked down to, just an appointment that had been approved by the manager. I am disappointed. I am afraid that this may be the end of a wonderful relationship due to new merger and "COMPANY RULES/COMPANY POLICY, " which does not include customer service.”
