“Zero stars!!! I have been a loyal customer of Bryan Pest Control for over 6 years, relying on their services for lawn fertilizer, weed control, and pest control. However, my experience with them has been nothing short of disappointing. Over the past 2 years, their technicians have shown a significant decline in knowledge regarding weeds and general lawn care techniques. I started noticing bald spots in my front yard, and when I sought advice from their technicians, their response was consistently, "Hmmm, I'm not sure." They failed to provide any recommendations for essential lawn care practices such as aeration or soil acidity testing. This lack of expertise was frustrating and left me feeling unsupported in maintaining the health of my lawn. The breaking point came when I laid new sod in a small area at the beginning of the season (Mar 23), explicitly instructing them not to apply pre-emergent or anything that would impact the sods ability to take hold. Initially, the area thrived and had the appearance of a golf course. However, in July, the entire area inexplicably died, resulting in a loss of $300. To make matters worse, Bryan Pest Control failed to provide timely service, with a gap of 7 weeks between visits (12 Jul - 29 Aug 23) yet they still charged me. They did not inform me of this delay due to a lack of technicians until I called to complain about the growing weed problem. During this extended period without service, my backyard became overrun with Dove weed, a rapidly spreading weed that is extremely invasive. As someone who takes pride in the appearance of my lawn, I was devastated to see the Dove weed kill approximately 20% of the grass. The only solution now is to resod the entire affected area, which will cost me close to $2000. Despite my complaint and subsequent cancellation of their service, Bryan Pest Control has shown no effort to rectify the situation or even reach out to discuss the issue. Any reputable lawn care company would take responsibility for their mistakes and cover the cost of resodding as a gesture of goodwill. In conclusion, my experience with Bryan Pest Control has become extremely unsatisfactory. Their technicians lack knowledge, their service has become unreliable, and their response to customer complaints is nonexistent. I strongly advise against using their services and recommend seeking a more reputable lawn care company that values customer satisfaction and takes responsibility for their mistakes.
