When I saw termites on my wood floor in one room of my house, my neighbor suggested I contact Evans Pest Control, the company they have used happily for years for regular monthly pest control. I was impressed when the owner, Neil, took my call and explained the inspection process. I immediately felt a sense of trust with the company, and the fact that their goal is to treat the problem, and not necessarily automatically tent your entire home (unlike the two other companies I had talked to with extremely high inspection rates, and who were quick to push a full house tenting). Kevin came out precisely on time as arranged. I was astonished at how thorough he was. I have extensive crawl spaces under the house, and multiple attics added during remodeling projects. He spent a great deal of time in the attics looking carefully for signs of infestation. And he literally crawled throughout the entire crawl space giving the footings a careful inspection. Of course he then checked the interior of the home. He was committed to doing a thorough inspection and never rushed any part of it. And he was a great communicator along the way – a real professional who clearly understands the business. While in a crawl space, he found an adult rabbit hopping about – so he took the time to walk the perimeter of my house to look for any openings. He found a small chicken-wired cover pulled off – possibly by a possum. He took the time to get chicken wire from his truck and professionally sealed the hole for me (and I happened to have a safe trap to capture the rabbit to set him free outside). After spending a couple of hours doing a very thorough inspection, at an extremely fair price, he delivered the news…the termites were only in that one small area where I had seen them! And that price for repair was very reasonable. He was able to drill extremely tiny holes in the walls to get the treatment into the studs/walls. He then filled them with a clear filler and left things neat and clean. It’s important to work with a company you can trust, and I have great trust and faith in Evans Pest Control. They are a small family-owned business and are keen on customer service. And Kevin was so well-trained and has been in the business for many years. I liked the pride he has in working for Evans – and he took the time to tell me about the warranty on their work as well. I highly recommend Evans for all pest control needs.”
