“False advertising, misleading and lack of customer service.....I called Fox Pest Control to eradicate a yellow jacket nest in the side of my house near a second story window. They charged me $292.46 for this nonsense: Initially they assured me that a ladder would be used to see where the entrance of the nest was since it is not visible from the ground. But when the technician arrived, he used a telescoping pole and shot powder all over my roof from the ground and then use a brush to clean it off. My husband could have shot something from the ground and this is why we were calling a 'professional' to get up on a ladder. The bees continued activity during/after the slight disturbance of this non effective powder. Fox was notified the next day, but they could not return until the following week and they CANNOT USE LADDERS due to liability! They were going to repeat the same method from the ground. Many calls later and waiting for a 'supervisor' to get back to me, we hired a new professional company to take care of the problem. The new company came out the same day, put a ladder up, eradicated the nest instantly AND charged only half the price Fox charged me. I asked Fox to refund my money since they did not do what they were hired to do and they REFUSE TO REFUND. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. These guys are not from around here - hire local.”
