“They've made it remarkably difficult to cancel this service. My first attempt was by emailing customer service to request cancelation. They responded that they'd "start" the cancelation process for me by submitting a ticket on my behalf, and that someone from customer service would be reaching out. The first frustration is that this could not be completed online. I received a voicemail later in the day from customer service. I returned the call. The woman I spoke with asked why I was calling. I said I was calling to cancel the service. She then proceeds to ask me a variety of questions about it, such as why I wished to cancel and the like. After she completes her questions she then discloses that she can't cancel the service and that I'd have to speak with someone else in another department. This is the second frustration. I began my comments to her with "I want to cancel my service." If she wasn't authorized to do this why not transfer me right then? Why waste my time by asking a slew of questions (the questions were NOT designed to get me to the right person). I said that it needed to be quick because I didn't have much additional time to dedicate to this. She then says she'll place me on a brief hold so that she can inform the person she's transferring me to what I conveyed to her in order to save me time. She then transfers me and the guy says "I didn't get many notes from the rep, why are you calling?" They should not make cancelling this difficult. Incidentally, I only became a "customer" when they acquired the pervious service I used. They recently increased their rates and did so without advance notice.”

“We, too, scheduled an appointment for "wildlife exclusion," and after waiting around during the 4-hour window, no one showed up or called. I called and re-scheduled the appointment - and again waited around, and no one showed up or called. We've called and called Bugout and have repeatedly been told a supervisor or someone in authority would call us to remediate this. After many days, no one has called back. We, too, were pleased for many years with the previous local company's service, but are now looking for a different company.”
