“BUYER BEWARE!! I made a very expensive mistake engaging with this despicable company. With a very high-pressure sale, I agreed to hire Greenix to initially treat our yard for bees. The conversation moved quickly with also agreeing to have ants, mosquitoes, tics, and fleas treated. I was promised in no uncertain terms; no pests would be in existence for an upcoming outdoor barbeque. After about three weeks and no sign of successful extermination of ants and mosquitoes, I contacted Greenix, and they promptly scheduled a reapplication but explained it may take three to four weeks more for the pests to fully disappear. Certainly not what I was told by the high-pressure salesperson, Tad. Weeks later, still ridden with ants and mosquitoes, I was informed a technician would be at my home for the next application. His text asked if I had any questions or concerns. I replied that although we would be out of town, it was fine for him to proceed with the application. I also mentioned that ants were still a huge problem. He applied an additional treatment for ant extermination around the lawn. As a result, the lawn now has many large, dead areas. After ten days of reviewing my claim, Greenix took no responsibility for the misapplication or over application and resulting dead lawn. The technician reported that the dead areas were there when he arrived and that the lawn was in extremely bad condition which was a blatant lie. This was not mentioned in his follow-up text to me, confirming his treatment for ants and asking for a good review or in the report he left on the door. I had absolutely no recourse but to cancel my contract, which was very costly. Adding to the cost is now having a landscape professional assess and estimate the cost to repair the lawn. To say the least, it will be very expensive to restore the lawn. I cannot emphasize enough; do not engage with this disgraceful company!! In the end, there is still an abundance of ant hills and mosquitoes around our yard.”
