“For almost ten years I have done business with River's Pest control. Always happy with the service! Now I do not feel this way. My house has the symptoms of the return of the subterranean termites. I called the office and I was told they need pictures of the problems. Well I have no way of having to provide pictures of the mud tubes. All I needed was for a technician to check out the problem. I was told the scheduling person was not in and will return my call. This did not happen. I called the next day and was told the same thing. I still have not received the call. If I have to call on day number three I will no longer do business with them. They need competent office people!”

“We purchased a four unit apartment building last year and after closing we discovered active termites in several of the units. I had called Rivers to have them come check since the building had an active termite bond on the building with them. They informed me the bond was up for renewal and billed me the $665 for the next year. I have had them out about 4 times this last year and have discovered active termites in the floors and windows of the building. They have spot treated but have refused to tent to address the issue. My renewal came up again this year and I called to discuss my concerns with renewing if they were not going to do the required work expected. The receptionist was rude and appeared to care less about my concerns. Not a company I would recommend or do business with in the future”

“Terrible Business Practices and Zero Customer Service My wife and I have been dealing with Rivers Pest Control since 2018, faithfully paying our annual bond for 6 years straight. When we discovered termite activity and needed them to actually honor their warranty by tenting our property, they flat-out refused to do the work we were paying them to cover. Because they wouldn't fulfill their end of the contract when we had an actual termite issue, we didn't renew in 2024. Now we have another problem, and instead of working with customers who paid them faithfully for 6 years, they want full fumigation price and refuse any accommodation. What really gets me is the unprofessional runaround we've gotten. I watched my wife call them every single day for over a week trying to get through to a manager. Each time, the office person promised a callback that never came. After a week of this nonsense, they finally told us we weren't allowed to speak to a manager at all. This is how they treat loyal customers? Take our money for years, refuse to honor their warranty when we need it, then give us the runaround when we try to resolve things reasonably? Looking at their reviews compared to other pest control companies in our area, I wish we had done our homework better from the start. The other companies have much better ratings and actually seem to care about customer service. Save yourself the headache and go with a company that actually stands behind their work and treats customers with respect. Rivers Pest Control clearly doesn't value long-term relationships or professional service.”
