“Southern Care Lawns has proven time and time again not to be worthy of my business for these reasons: They have not met their obligations to care for the lawn, which forced me to cancel the service and held the final payment because of damages to the lawn that they caused. Instead of resolving The issue they sent my account for collection for the amount of $100 which I ended up having to satisfy. Below are proof in pictures of the many attempts at contacting them & their Lack of Professionalism. I recommend you Take your business elsewhere.”

“Began service with Southern Care Lawn and Pest, Inc. in October of 2024. I cancelled service July 31st 2025. Service started out quite well, then during the 10 months they serviced my lawn I experienced several issues.. phone calls to office resulted in "full mailbox" messages where I was unable to contact anybody. The only number I could reach office staff through was if I indicated I wanted to pay a bill and choose that option. I had to use this method to relay continuous service issues to the correct department. I had service I was billed for... without a sign in the yard, an invoice on the door and for a time stamp when I was actually home and witnessed no one service the lawn. I paid for that service, as unsettling as it felt. Within days of this supposed service my lawn began to brown severely. I called and it was difficult to reach someone yet again.. eventuaĺy I had a service tech come out and spray something else on the lawn. Within a week the entire lawn was dead. I would like to say that ALL the many technicians that tried to help me we're very polite and professional. However I was given conflicting reasons for damage to lawn... watering too much, not watering enough, fungus, not fungus. Very inconsistent messages were given to me and I lost all confidence in this company and its ability to salvage a lawn that had been in amazing condition. I am not notorious for leaving bad reviews. The opposite is the case, I'm a cheerleader for businesses that offer expertise and value to a client. Southern Care Lawn and Pest performed services on my lawn for 10 months. My lawn was decimated. I immediately started with a new company to try to salvage it within one week of canceling my service. I was told past insect damage was likely the culprit. Today I received word from new company that the lawn will not recover. Please review the photos and the notes from the new company. It seems impossible that the responsibility would fall on the homeowner to replace the entire lawn with new sod when it was being professionally serviced to prevent such a scenario. I'm requesting someone at Southern Care Lawn and Pest reach out to me regarding the 500 ft or less of sod I now require. If this issue is resolved I am more than happy to edit my review to indicate that Southern Care Lawn and Pest IS RESPONSIVE to their clients when they have failed to perform their duties to a lawn under their care, custody and control.
