“Please never do business with this company. Never met the owner, he sent out a guy who guaranteed Trappers would rid my home of mice and bat issues. Trappers tried to sell me other items, but I declined them. Trappers guaranteed their work for a year, even if I had a new roof installed. I asked them countless times and they confirmed. In January Trappers installed two bat valves, filled areas on roof, never saw a pic but trusted their word. Went around exterior and filled low areas with silicone, looked quite messy after. Contacted them about having more bats and dead mice in the house, they never came out. In May Trappers pulled my warranty saying I did not have them install a ridge guard on my house (that was an additional item and no one said that was the precursor to a warranty). Trappers is paid, I have no warranty and I still have bats and mice. Not a good situation. I contact Trappers but they refused to do any additional work. So I dispute this claim and Josh angry texts me from several different numbers and emails at 11pm-12am. This is NOT a professional. Trappers is paid $1600 and they did not do what they guaranteed. Josh fought the dispute, they give no refunds, BEWARE of his gurantees and being paid before his work is complete. An honest company will wait until their work is done to be paid. Please contact Bats and Bugs, Corey is awesome. He does ALL the work himself, thorough and explained how Trappers never got under my deck, nor in my garage by a door, as there was a major "highway" for mice entering my home. Bat and Bugs found several areas on the roof that Trappers did not seal. He was honest and told me he frankly would have waited to do a bat exclusion until AFTER a new roof is installed. (Trappers told me they would come back and do a free inspection to fulfill my warranty, but Josh "misspoke" 4 mos later about warrantying his work). Bat and Bugs used a different material other than cheap silicone that melts in hot Iowa weather, to seal areas on my roof. He also filled areas under my deck and garage door, repaired areas without charging me, and installed a ridge guard. Trappers was trying to charge me $1239. Bat and Bugs charged me $1273 for EVERYTHING and a one year warranty. Trappers would have charged me $2844. Thank you Bat and Bugs. Just goes to show you that there are good honest people out there. Pics are what Bat and Bugs took. Trappers NEVER took pics to show me before or after. These are all access areas and Trappers failed to do a complete bat and mouse exclusion. I will stick with Bat and Bugs. Very knowledgeable, very professional, VERY THOROUGH.”
