“I signed up with McNeely Pest Services and loved their service! I paid for the full year for 2023, and at some point they were bought out by Bug Out. I called Bug Out when I got a "past due" bill and explained that I paid for the entire 2023 year already; there should be no bill owing. The lady on the phone said she would talk to accounting and take care of it. fast forward 6 months or so, I just got a letter from a collections company saying I owe over $500!! I called Bug Out to see why and they said they won't talk to me. I never signed any agreement with Bug Out or requested service beyond what I paid for, yet they claim I owe them for services I paid for a year ago to the company they bought out, and they refuse to speak to me. If the McNeely technicians work for them, they are great guys, but the corporate office and their business in general is a train wreck.”

“McNeely was great Bug Out is not. Total reviews are from the old company. The format is non responsive. I have called 3 times with no response as they have opened tickets but I never got a call. Last service my husbands wedding ring went missing. It was in a bowl by the bed. It was there before then gone when tech left. Granted he should not have left it out but sad that the trust was lost. There are no true managers they are district and in other state they do not call you for any reason just the techs. Can I trust now that these techs are handling proper Concentration of bug spray etc without real supervision. This is a cheap way of running a business. I was with McNeely for years. I will start to look for a new company.”

“Would give zero stars if possible. I was a long term customer of McNeely for both home and business for over a decade. Once Bugout took over their business totally a few months ago, the complete lack of customer service became apparent. I feel bad for the technicians left working for this new company, because they are still great, but the invoicing process is extremely suspect, and the scheduling process is non-existent. If you are lucky, they will tell you when they will be at your home 15 minutes ahead of time. Or, they just send a technician when you're not home you get charged for services not rendered. I feel appointments should be scheduled at a mutually convenient time. If you value even the most basic customer service, do not choose Bugout. Edit on 1/19 - on this review over a month ago, they said they would be contacting me to discuss concerns. As of this writing, I still have not heard from them. It's worth noting that McNeely had put in a drainage system for us, so BugOut holds that warranty, therefore I'm still a customer of BugOut's and still nothing. One more example of the atrocious customer service of this company.”
