“I left a review earlier after having a technician come out to do a free termite and rodent inspection. The inspector said I had termites and showed me where they were. There was a tiny worm like thing in the dirt. Apparently worker termites do look like grains of rice but with legs. They do not wiggle like worms. If you don't use a magnifying glass you may miss the legs. The technician was friendly and did not try to pressure me into a service, but I did believe I had termites. I decided to get a second opinion from another company as the price for treatment seemed high - over $1200. Luckily the company I called had actually treated my house in 2022 for termites! I need to keep better notes. I will say that it is worth getting a second opinion and more than likely a better deal on treatment if you do in fact have termites. Ecoshield is fine but definitely more expensive than some other companies and always get a second opinion!”

“I had been a customer for years, paying more than $600 annually. I called customer service and spoke with their representative, who couldn't speak English clearly, and suspended service. EcoShield showed up and attempted service but I shooed them away. Now EcoShield claims I owe them for their mistake: they did not have permission to resume service. I have asked to be provided a transcript of the conversation to prove my point; they ignored my request and put me in collections. EcoShield are bad actors. They do not listen and charge you for it. I went ahead and paid the bill to have a clear conscious while I ream them a new one with bad reviews. I finally cancelled my service. They replied that I had to speak with them to do so. Again, bad faith, we had a bad relationship where I have spent more than $3000 in fees as a customer and they couldn't follow simple instructions to suspend service until I notified them.”
